College professors Maggie and Richard separate after she discovers his affair. Maggie meets Kyle on a night out and they have a one-night stand. She later discovers that Kyle is a student in her class and becomes obsessed with her. Kyle frames Richard for a crime and seduces their daughter as part of his plan for revenge against Maggie, who escaped from a serial killer she wrote a book about. Maggie must save her family before it's too late.
