After a deadly virus ravages the human population, the survivors are left to live in primitive conditions. The shaman leader is entitled to choose his female partners first, but when David's girlfriend is selected, he becomes upset. David murders his father and is subsequently exiled from the tribe. While wandering with his companions, they come across a community of mutants who give in to their primal urges, and where everyone harbors a hidden agenda.
