Photographer Derek and his friend Bennett encounter the aftermath of a flood before camping in the woods. There, they meet a disoriented fisherman who speaks of "little men". As chaos ensues in the nearby town, Derek and Bennett face their own terrifying encounter with the extraterrestrial invaders. Their struggle for survival escalates as the aliens' invasion spreads, leaving them questioning who they can trust and how to escape the extraterrestrial threat.
