Clark, a young Mathematics major at University, finds what she believes is the perfect student housing deal: living with squatters in an abandoned hospital. The quirky residents accept her on the condition she follows their rules, including keeping her living situation secret. However, things take a dark turn when she learns the hospital was abandoned due to unsolved 1940s murders by a 'shrieking killer' and realizes someone is using occult methods to summon the demonic 'Shrieker'.
