Hart and Moore are grave-robbers supplying cadavers to the medical students of 19th-century Edinburgh. When the supply runs low, but demand remains high, they devise a plan to create their own supply. This proves profitable as long as they target vagrants, prostitutes, and drunkards. However, when they poison the likable Jamie, the townsfolk retaliate.
