The search for her vanished brother leads Kaoru to the isolated village of Kozukata. When her car breaks down, Kaoru finds herself trapped in the village. The locals are unwelcoming to her, but she finds a place to stay and continues her search for her brother while the village prepares for the upcoming Scarecrow Festival.
