Karl Kinsky, an unbalanced tattoo artist, becomes obsessed with Maddy, a model he meets during a photo shoot where he is hired to body-paint several women, making them appear as if they have large tattoos. As Kinsky's obsession with Maddy grows, he becomes increasingly determined that she should bear his "mark" -- forever.
