A meteor shower damages Lunar Base Ark, forcing crewwoman Ava Cameron to repair a CO2-filled wing despite warnings of hallucinations. She brings back a meteor sample containing spores, accidentally cutting herself. Ava later becomes mysteriously pregnant and delivers an alien offspring. The crew dismisses her claims as delusions until the alien bites and clones crewman Bruce Johns, revealing the growing danger of the alien threat.
