The new Syfy/USA Network series “Chucky” revives the killer doll (once again voiced by Brad Dourif) and features plenty of wild kills and chuckles.
Don Mancini continues his beloved cult film franchise Child’s Play as a TV series with Chucky, yet another story about the killer doll possessed by a serial killer. This time, the frame story is a queer teen drama, but the doll’s murder spree fits the genre just fine. Debuting on Syfy and USA Network on Oct. 12.
The people making Chucky don’t appear to be losing sleep over such technicalities as 'what happens' or 'how much sense it makes'. Why should I?
The new TV series derived from the Child’s Play horror movies is a unique exercise in fun
Chucky returns with a confident, nasty season 2 on Syfy

‘Chucky’ walks a fascinating tonal tightrope as a funny, absurd series that engenders sympathy as well as shock. Read our review.
"Chucky" brings gory fun to Syfy.
Syfy series "Chucky" is richer, more personal than the "Child's Play" films that inspired it -- but just as frightening

Chucky season 3 invades in the White House, resulting in the wildest season yet. Read our spoiler-free review of the horror series right here.
The doll inhabited by a serial killer and voiced by Brad Dourif makes the leap to television in 'Chucky,' Syfy and USA's series adaptation of the 'Child's Play' franchise.
Chucky is as foul-mouthed and homicidal as ever in his new Syfy series
The murderous doll returns for more but does anyone need to see his antics spread out over eight episodes?
Chucky is the toy story that won’t die. The spinoff series based on the cult-horror franchise returns for its third season (streaming on Peacock, airing on Syfy and USA Network) of typically nutty, gory camp-comedy. But this new narrative arc also delivers a little political satire as our beloved slaughterous doll – voiced by Brad Dourif, as ever – finds his way into a position of power in Washington, D.C., and no, he doesn’t become the new Speaker of the House, but that would be pretty damn funny, wouldn’t it?
