Sasazawa Saho (笹沢左保, November 15, 1930 – October 21, 2002) was a Japanese author, known as the creator of the Kogarashi Monjirō novels, which became a hit televised drama series. He was a self-declared member of the shinhonkaku-ha or "new orthodox" school of detective fiction writing.
