Clark Johnson (born September 10, 1954) is an American-Canadian actor and director, who has worked in both television and film. He is best known for his roles as David Jefferson on Night Heat (1985–88), Clark Roberts on E.N.G. (1989–94), Meldrick Lewis in Homicide: Life on the Street (1993–99), Augustus Haynes in The Wire (2008), and Cherry Pitts in the Marvel Cinematic Universe series Daredevil: Born Again (2025–present). Johnson was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing for a Drama Series for the pilot episode of The Shield. He was nominated for a Genie Award for Best Actor for Nurse.Fighter.Boy (2008) and Best Supporting Actor for Rude (1995).
