Tricia Janine Helfer (born April 11, 1974) is a Canadian American actress and former model, best known for portraying the humanoid Cylon Number Six in the critically acclaimed science fiction series Battlestar Galactica (2004-2009). Originally from a grain farm in Donalda, Alberta, she began modeling at age 17 after winning the Ford Models’ Supermodel of the World contest in 1992. Helfer transitioned into acting in the early 2000s with roles in television and video games; her voice work includes Sarah Kerrigan in StarCraft II (2010–2015).
