Strother Douglas Martin Jr. (March 26, 1919 – August 1, 1980) was an American actor, who appeared in over 170 film and television productions between 1950 and 1980, mainly in character roles. He often appeared in support of John Wayne and Paul Newman, and in Westerns directed by John Ford and Sam Peckinpah.
