Rei Sakuma (佐久間 レイ, Sakuma Rei; born Reiko Sakuma (佐久間 玲子, Sakuma Reiko), January 5, 1965) is a Japanese actress, voice actress, singer and narrator from Setagaya District, Tokyo. She was formerly married to actor and talent Yū Mizushima. She is best known in Japan for her role as the character Batako in the long running children's television anime series Let's Go! Anpanman, while her most famous voice role in the English-speaking world is as the Chinese Amazon character Shampoo in Ranma ½. Other popular voice roles of hers include Yōko Sakakibara in Azuki-chan, Mariemaia Khushrenada in New Mobile Report Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz, My Melody in Onegai My Melody, and Mini-Dora in Doraemon.
