Tahyna Tozzi is an Australian actress, director, writer and producer. Tahyna starred in several television series and film blockbusters including X-Men Origins: Wolverine before moving into production working extensively across film, television, and advertising. She has since focused on socially driven storytelling with an emphasis on gender parity and cultural impact. Tahyna's debut feature MuM: Misunderstandings of Miscarriage garnered critical and audience acclaim. The film premiered on STAN Australia, followed by a release on Netflix, and continues to screen worldwide, helping to dismantle the shame and stigma surrounding pregnancy loss. She followed this with ABBA & Elvis in the Outback, a documentary exploring how regional towns use cultural events to drive economic growth and sustain local communities. The film was broadcast on SBS Australia as the number one documentary program on the scheduled broadcast date and has since been licensed by ABC for international distribution. She is also the co-founder of the all-female-led production company Neon Jane, which she established with producer Kelly Tomasich. In 2020, the pair launched the Australian Women's Film Festival, a festival dedicated to celebrating Australian women in film and honouring those who have made significant contributions to the industry.
