A troubled woman awakens in a rundown hotel and wanders through the city, encountering various strange characters. She accompanies a rich man to his apartment, where she stabs him to death in a fit of rage. As she flees the scene, she is pursued by a policeman who resembles her abusive father. She ends up in a club, surrounded by a crazed crowd, before awakening in her hotel room to a gruesome discovery.
