In a world plagued by a deadly zombie virus, a precious cure known as the "Return Protein" allows infected individuals to live seemingly normal lives. But when the protein supply dwindles, chaos erupts. Alex, a musician with a dark secret as a "Returned," and Kate, a leading doctor in the field, find themselves caught in the midst of the turmoil. As fear spreads and Alex's dosage depletes, they must fight for survival before he succumbs to becoming a zombie.
