Azucena lives with her mute mother. She works in a photography lab with her best friend Paqui and recently ended a relationship. Fearful of intimacy, she lives in her own sheltered world. Cesar, a plastic artist, becomes obsessively attracted to Azucena, making her his muse, while Jacinto, Cesar's unstable lover, painfully witnesses this destructive relationship.
