In 1908 Tokyo, a spiritual battle unfolds amid Japan's rapid industrialization influenced by Western ideals. Yasumasa Hirai, an Onmyoji from Kyoto, joins a secret meeting to transform Tokyo into a prosperous city. Opposing him is Yasunori Kato, an evil Onmyoji set on the city's destruction. This clash shapes the destiny of Tokyo and the Japanese Empire, as tradition contends with the forces of modernization.
