Orphaned teenage twins Maria and Frieda move in with their uncle Gustav Weil, leader of the Brotherhood, a vigilante group aiming to eradicate vampirism. While the twins may appear identical outwardly, Frieda finds herself irresistibly drawn to the Count's castle, which looms over the landscape.
