Four young girls witness the murder of a classmate during what they thought was an innocent game. The killer, a strange boy named Milo Jeeder, seemingly drowned shortly after. Sixteen years later, the survivors reunite in the same town, only to discover that Milo has returned, still a young boy, unchanged after nearly two decades.
