Giant robots from Venus invade Chicago, leaving the city deserted. Stranded survivors Frank and Nora team up with a couple, Vicki and Jim, to escape robot patrols. Taking refuge in a hotel, they face a new threat: Davis, a dangerous psychopathic killer.
