Fed up with her parents’ constant fighting, wealthy Maya moves in with her boyfriend, who is squatting in a condemned building on Manhattan’s Lower East Side. Surrounded by addicts and outcasts, the building hides a dark secret: a virus from the toxic waste infects the residents, turning them into bloodthirsty killers and transforming the place into a violent nightmare.
