In 1960, the Davis family is struggling. After years of enduring Frank’s unpredictable, alcohol-fueled temper, Laura finally throws him out and returns to work as a nurse—something neither her 11-year-old daughter Ellen nor 16-year-old Judy are happy about. Hoping to win Laura back, Frank leaves her a beautiful antique necklace he found in an old 1938 evidence bag at the police station. Though Laura refuses to be “bought,” the necklace ends up in the house—unleashing the vengeful spirit of a long-dead, evil boy. Now, Laura and her daughters are in grave danger from a child who no longer exists.
