Stolen by crusaders at birth, Radu grows up unaware that his mother is a demon and his father a vampire. Trained by mystic monks to slay the Church’s enemies, he returns one night to his father’s castle, wielding the Sword of Laertes to kill Vladislas and reclaim the Bloodstone. The encounter turns Radu into a masterless vampire, sending him on a centuries-long quest for sustenance, companionship, and the relic he believes will bring him peace.
