In a near future where toxic air forces most people into virtual lives, dissatisfied working mother Carol struggles to reconnect with her family. Hoping to repair her life, she enrolls in “DreamQuil,” an experimental digital wellness retreat. But when she returns home, Carol discovers her family has been living with “Carol 2,” a lifelike robot sent to replace her during her absence, and the situation soon turns dark and sinister.
