He then went on to appear in a few films, such as Short Circuit (1986), Caddyshack II (1988), Arachnophobia (1990) and Mystery Date (1991). He was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for playing Dean Karny in the television film Billionaire Boys Club (1987).
