Genevieve Barr (born 12 December 1985) is a British screenwriter, playwright and actor. She wrote Then Barbara Met Alan (2022) with Jack Thorne for BBC and Netflix to popular and critical acclaim, winning best single drama at the Broadcast Awards in 2023. It has been announced Channel 4 is filming her thriller series, I.D. As well as being an actor, best known for her breakout role in BBC's The Silence, she is a co-founder of Underlying Health Condition which led to the launch of The TV Access Project (TAP), in Spring 2022.
