A fun binge if you don't expect anything too deep. The cast is the best part of the show and does a lot of the heavy lifting.

Still, it feels like this was originally planned to be something else, maybe something tied to the Stranger Things universe or with a deeper lore, before being watered down into what it eventually became. That becomes more apparent as the season goes on, with the story running out of gas after the first episodes and slowly going around in circles toward the end.
