Dr. Génessier, a brilliant surgeon, sets out to give his severely disfigured daughter, Christiane, a new face by performing face transplants on kidnapped young women. Despite repeated failures, he persists until his world comes crashing down as Christiane realizes the true extent of her father's actions.
