An old man, haunted by regret over his mother’s death from tuberculosis, roams between his farm and a rural village with a silent spirit he witnessed die 50 years earlier. Compelled to ease the suffering of the terminally ill, he has quietly euthanized several women. When he discovers the spirit can transport him back in time, he devises a plan to convince his younger self to end his mother’s suffering before it becomes unbearable.
