Ted Lonergan, a retired cop turned writer, is called back into action when a mysterious predator terrorizes Los Angeles. Teaming up with genetic scientist Sherry Carpenter, they hunt down the Syngenor, a deadly genetically mutated organism, before it wreaks havoc and multiplies.
