Medical researcher Frank, his fiancée Zoe, and their team achieve the impossible: reviving the dead. Their unsanctioned experiment on a lifeless animal is successful, but their dean shuts them down. Zoe dies during a recreation attempt, prompting Frank to test the process on her. Zoe is revived, but something evil lurks within her.
