When Dorine Douglas' proofreading job for Constant Consumer magazine becomes an at-home position due to downsizing, she struggles to cope. After accidentally killing a co-worker, she discovers that murder alleviates her loneliness. Soon, her basement transforms into a macabre office space populated by her dead co-workers.
