Continuing from the first film, Nell Sweetzer is found terrified and alone in rural Louisiana. In the relative safety of New Orleans, she realizes she can’t remember large portions of the previous months, only that she is the last surviving member of her family. As Nell starts to rebuild her life, the evil force that once possessed her returns with unimaginably horrific plans, revealing that her last exorcism was just the beginning.
