Kate and her artist husband are busy working parents, managing their daily lives. When they hire Anna, a Swedish nanny, she entertains their daughter Christina with odd stories, gifts, and a strange picture book. Soon, Kate experiences terrible visions, her husband acts strangely, and Christina drifts away. Kate’s investigation of Anna reveals a bizarre Satanic plot.
