Frank Nolan and Fay Peronivic find themselves in a mysterious all-night café after a near-death experience, only to realize they’ve actually died and been revived by the café. Given a chance to correct a past mistake, they succeed and become the café’s new cook and waitress. With help from Blackie, the enigmatic owner, they serve coffee, daily specials, and second chances to troubled souls as the café mysteriously travels from place to place.
