A crew member on the first manned mission to Mars believes he’s discovered fossilized evidence of bacterial life. Eager for glory, he defies orders and ventures out alone, but a sudden collapse traps him in a crevice. As his team tries to recover his body, another crew member vanishes, and they realize this new life-form may be more dangerous than they imagined.
