Jack, a children’s author turned crime novelist, becomes paranoid after deep research into Victorian serial killers. Haunted by irrational fears of being murdered, his life spirals further when a Hollywood executive shows sudden interest in his script. What should be his big break quickly leads to a breakdown, forcing Jack to face his worst demons, including his love life, laundry, and the origin of his fears.
