Devon Lauder hires paranormal investigator Agnes Goldberg to explore his haunted inn, inherited from his evil uncle Avery Lauter, in California. He also brings in Murphy’s skeptical security agency for protection. Upon arrival, they meet the creepy gardener, Elwin. After Agnes conducts a séance, video technician Ginger Kowowski is murdered in the shower, and Murphy’s team suspects Elwin. However, they soon realize they are mistaken about the killer.
