A plague devastates life on Earth, killing almost everyone and turning the remaining humans into vampire like creatures. Dr. Robert Morgan is the only healthy survivor, and he keeps a strict routine, hunting the night creatures during the day and barricading himself in his house at night. One day, he discovers a woman that seems to be contaminated but keeping the sickness at bay, restoring his hope.
