People vanish in the Canadian wilderness every year—but this year, something is raising the body count. Wildlife researcher Jim and his team, including his rebellious daughter Emmy, venture into the forest to study the elusive Canadian Lynx, only to find the animals missing—along with most of the local wildlife. As they investigate, they realize they are being hunted by something inhuman, something no prey can escape.
