Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Movie Review Before the TV series, there was the movie in which a Nineties Valley Girl discovers her true calling.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" is a bloodless comic resurrection of the undead that goes serious just when it should get wild and woolly. The marginal buoyancy of the opening reels quickly disappears from this threadbare (reportedly only $ 7 million) production, which is more effective as a sendup of Valley girls than as a clever take on bloodsuckers.
Movie Reviews : 'Buffy's' Gnarly Date With Destiny If the undead invaded a Southern California high school, would anybody notice?
