‘The Slumber Party Massacre’ review by Rob Gonsalves • Letterboxd Only in America. People who might never otherwise have heard of Rita Mae Brown went to see this, which she wrote; and people who’d never be caught dead seeing a film with this title read her acclaimed novels and mysteries. Many critics have wondered why Brown and director Amy Jones (who later made Love Letters) did a movie like this.
