Mark Lewis, a solitary individual, has a day job at a film studio. By night, he snaps provocative photos of women. Secretly, he's in the process of creating a documentary about fear, capturing the reactions of his victims as he kills them on camera. Mark strikes up a friendship with Helen, the daughter of the family living in the apartment below him, and vaguely informs her about the movie he's creating.
