A puppet maker has discovered the secret to creating living puppets, but as Nazi agents arrive to the Bodega Bay Inn, where he is staying, he hides his puppet children and commit suicide. Years later, a group of psychics are invited by one common acquaintance to the Inn to investigate the secret of the puppets, only to discover that they have turned evil and have murderous plans.
