While transmitting his work at a roadside phone booth, professor Hideki Satomi discovers a newspaper scrap with a picture of his daughter Nana in the obituary. His car is hit by a truck, killing Nana. Three years later, his wife Ayaka researches paranormal individuals who have read a cursed newspaper that predicts the future. When Hideki changes destiny and saves Ayaka's life, he becomes trapped in a hellish limbo, where he must choose his own fate.
