History professor Luis seeks vengeance against a colleague who stole his life's work, resorting to violence instead of theories. After a violent outburst, he's sent to an institution but released to his wife Beatriz's care. Though life seems normal, Beatriz fears his relapse. When their cat Donatello disappears, she suspects a more sinister connection.
