In a road trip from LA to Miami, aspiring filmmaker Sean picks up Nick, a hitchhiker who's hunting a group of vampires led by one of the Forsaken - the first vampires. Nick was bitten and infected, but thanks to an antiviral drug cocktail, the vampire virus is being kept at bay. However, the cure won't last much longer. Now, he is racing against time to kill the vampire that bit him, the only cure to avoid turning into a vampire himself.
