In 2031, Dr. Buchanan and his team develop an energy beam intended to be the ultimate weapon. Unfortunately, the prototype's unpredictable side effects create erratic global weather patterns and rifts in space and time, causing people to vanish. Buchanan and his car are transported to 1817 Switzerland, where he meets Dr. Victor Frankenstein and Mary Shelley in a town terrorized by a killer monster roaming the woods.
